Field Trips can be one of the most fun and effective ways to teach history to children. Come join other homeschool families as we Time Travel Through Texas on history-rich field trips! We’ll set specific dates as the times near, and arrange as many group rates and tours as possible. Most of these sites are State Parks, so we’ll plan on taking picnic lunches as we drive around the state. Some of the trips will be LONG, so be prepared for that! We will coordinate car-pooling so we can take as few or as many vehicles as the families want to take. Plan to pay for gas (probably about $5 per person) if you ride with someone else. You can choose as many or as few of the trips in which you’d like to participate; some may require advance reservations, but we’ll let everyone know that in plenty of time. Please e-mail info@triumphhomeschool.org if you want to participate in one of the first three field trips.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Every student MUST have a parent-designated supervisor. TRIUMPH is not providing or coordinating extra chaperones. Washington-on-the-Brazos - rescheduled due to snow!
