Bucks for Barter is a program for members of TRIUMPH Homeschool Community, set up to help all of us make the most of both our talents and our budgets!
Your $20 registration fee with TRIUMPH will give you $150 non-cash value TRIUMPH Bucks, to be used in trade with other homeschooling families to give and provide needed services.
You are asked to assign a value to services you and your family members can provide, and offer that in trade to other homeschool families signed up for the system, and use TRIUMPH Bucks as your payment method.
So, if George needs a haircut, he pays Anne $10 Barter Bucks. Anne now has $160. She needs an oil change, so she pays Rick $60 Barter Bucks. Rick now has $210. He needs his computer viruses wiped out, so he pays Chris $75 to do that. Chris wants his yard mowed while he's out of town, so he pays George's son $40 Barter Bucks to do that for him, and now, George needs a haircut again!
Bucks for Barter participants have the option to set monthly limits on the monthly amount of Bucks which can be accepted, due to the fact that we all still need cash flow!!!
